PROPOSAL FOR THE CITY OF UNION POLITICAL TAKE SOME OF THE CLAIMS MADE TO THE DRAFT IN PORTMAN
Whatever Report by the Chief Engineer of the City Infrastructure in relation to the proposed marina Portman, and whose qualifications and realized the last meeting of the Planning Commission have been made, by of some groups and individuals, claims in a timely manner to the project. Among these arguments, three of them made by the Fundación Sierra Minera and neighborhood groups undertaken by Portman, who by the invocation of general interest to which they refer ensuring the defense of the coastline near Portman, for the institutional interests of this City Hall, and the recovery of the traditional uses of the bay of Portman, should, in the opinion of the undersigned, being overtaken and politically defended by the City Council to the appropriate authorities. That is why we formulate the following PROPOSED RESOLUTION
The City of La Union is sent to the Directorate General for Transport and Ports of Autonomous expressing their will to it that:
a) The new marina should be included in a plan for the Autonomous Port of Murcia as the only new port facility between Cartagena and La Manga, ensuring an extra degree of protection to our coast.
b) It is imperative that the City of La Union hold a reserve of space and berths in the future nautical-sports station for public sports activities.
c) The social fabric of the area, participating in the procedure of choice alternative for environmental remediation of the bay of Portman, has always expressed an interest in the recovery traditional uses of the bay, both professional fishing bathroom as meaning that in case of need for the government to build a nautical-sports station, it was built behind the beach, thereby ensuring the stability of the same and that should not be feasible for the reasons cited regardless of the boat station, you will always recover the old fishing pier for the aforementioned professional use, and for the relocation of the boats that now occupy the small dock stocker the bay.
